Private events

Haus of Clay is the perfect place to hold your private event, whether it be a hens, birthday, work function or just a get together with your group of mates!

Our studio is situated in the heart of Coffs Harbour City Centre with many restaurants surrounding us, why not come and do a private ceramics workshop then head off to dinner!

Choose from our themed 2 hour hand building workshop, or session on the wheel. Private events are held throughout the week and on weekends.

Hand-building - $90 per person - minimum of 6 people.

Your group will be shown a demonstration of the basic hand building techniques and everybody will be given a chunk of clay to create with. You can choose to make one larger item or two smaller items which will then be fired and glazed and ready for pick up 5-6 weeks after your workshop. If you would prefer, we can also have a theme to the workshop eg. Make a mug, Vases, Platter and dip bowls.

Wheel Throwing - $115 per person - minimum of 5 people - maximum of 8.

Each person gets their own wheel and will be given an introduction to wheel throwing.

Everyone will get to choose up to two pieces they make on the wheel which will then be fired and glazed and ready to pick up 4-6 weeks after your workshop.

All workshops are BYO and you are welcome to organise platter’s, food, and drinks. We have glassware available to use at the studio.
